Data Supplement

CITIZEN POLITICS, 5th edition, includes a data supplement from the 2004 International Social Survey Program (ISSP). These data are used throughout the book, and a subset of items is available to instructors using this text. The list of variables is described in Appendix C of the text, which is also available through this website. Computer-based research projects on these opinion surveys can both enrich the subject matter of the course for students and provide them with a firsthand opportunity to understand the process of public opinion research.
