LANIC is one of the most popular and respected academic Web portals for the study of Latin America. Resources are designed primarily to facilitate research, but the site has also become an important gateway to Latin America for primary and secondary school teachers and students and private and public sector professionals.

For information about the lending activities of this regional development bank, the IDB Web site provides access to research materials and data on a variety of topics.
