Race For The Presidency
Winning the 2008 Nomination
By Rhodes Cook |
|
Missouri will be at the geographic epicenter of the quasi-national Super Tuesday primary on Feb. 5. Without the presidential fortunes of Richard Gephardt to promote, the Show Me State could find itself heavily courted by an array of candidates in both parties.
Missouri does not have party registration, so any of its 4,007,174 registered voters (as of October 2006) may participate in either the Democratic or Republican primary.
