Clare Cushman, Supreme Court Historical Society
Clare Cushman has been Director of Publications for over a decade at the Supreme Court Historical Society, where she oversees a print and electronic publications program geared to a general audience. She is the editor and contributing writer of two reference books: "The Supreme Court Justices: Illustrated Biographies 1798-1995" and "Milestones to Equality: Supreme Court Decisions and Women's Rights" (2000). Cushman is also the producer of two digital documentaries: "FDR and the Court-Packing Episode of 1937" and "Five Justices and the Grand Commission; Deciding the Election of 1876."

Melvin I. Urofsky, Virginia Commonwealth University

Melvin I. Urofsky is a professor emeritus of history at Virginia Commonwealth University, earning his A.B., M.A., and Ph.D. at Columbia University and his J.D. at University of Virginia. Urofsky is the author or editor of more than two dozen books on constitutional law, Supreme Court history, and religious freedoms.
