CQ provides an accurate, impartial, organized directory to the executive branch of the US government. Sections include "Executive Office of the President," "Executive Departments," "Independent Agencies," "Quasi-official Organizations," "Biographies," "Subject Index, and "Individual Index." "Executive Departments" includes helpful organizational charts prior to the subsections for each agency and most major offices, like those in the US Government Manual. While sketches in "Biographies" are inconsistent, it is one of the most appealing and useful sections. "Independent Agencies" and "Quasi-Official Organizations" also add great value.
