Kenneth Jost, The CQ Researcher

Kenneth Jost is a Supreme Court reporter, author of Supreme Court Yearbook since the 1992-1993 edition, and a staff writer for CQ Researcher. A graduate of Harvard College and Georgetown University Law Center, Jost has been reporting on legal affairs since 1970.



David Masci, The CQ Researcher

David Masci specializes in social policy, religion and foreign affairs. Before joining CQ Researcher as a staff writer in 1996, he was a reporter at CQ's Daily Monitor and CQ Weekly. He holds a BA in medieval history from Syracuse University and a law degree from The George Washington University.



Brian Hansen, The CQ Researcher

Brian Hansen, a freelance writer in Boulder, Colo., specializes in educational and environmental issues. He previously was a staff writer for The Researcher and a reporter for the Colorado Daily in Boulder and Environment News Service in Washington. His awards include the Scripps Howard Foundation award for public service reporting and the Education Writers Association award for investigative reporting. He holds a B.A. in political science and an M.A. in education from the University of Colorado.



Mary H. Cooper, The CQ Researcher

Mary H. Cooper specializes in environmental, energy and defense issues. Before joining CQ Researcher as a staff writer in 1983, she was a reporter and Washington correspondent for the Rome daily newspaper l'Unita. She is the author of The Business of Drugs (CQ Press, 1990). She also is a contract translator-interpreter for the U.S. State Department. Cooper graduated from Hollins College in English.
